As your personal yoga teacher, I will offer expert guidance to help you achieve what you need most from the practice, with tailored sequences to help you move, breathe and feel better.

If you’re training for a big event such as a marathon, we can create a programme to help you deeply stretch. Learn simple mindfulness techniques you can incorporate into your training schedule to improve sports performance and reduce sport anxiety.

If you’re recovering from an illness or have a health condition, or want to increase strength after an injury or surgery, private yoga sessions offer a personalised plan to encourage healing or alleviate symptoms or discomfort.

MY STORY

My journey into well-being begins with my own story of a battle with depression and anxiety from an early teenager. Discovering yoga and meditation in my twenties was quite literally a lifeline and this inspired me to train as a yoga and meditation teacher.

By moving the body and learning to breathe properly, I was able to calm my busy mind and find the inner peace I had been so desperately looking for.

I began to study yoga and Buddhist philosophies and practices which, over time, transformed my life.

WHY ME?

I’ve taught yoga and meditation within schools, Colleges and Universities, out in the local community, online and in the corporate world. And I love working one-2-one with people just like you.

I live and breathe what I teach and have dedicated my whole life to teaching others. I have oodles of valuable experience, but I also have many professional qualifications in yoga and meditation, and have invested hours into my own personal development. I’ve undertaken additional training in Yoga Nidra and Pregnancy Yoga.

I ensure my high standards are delivered to each and every one of my clients. I’m easy to work with. I take the work seriously but not myself. I focus on your goals to get the results you desire because I want you to experience the benefits of yoga for yourself.

In September 2020 I was gifted four one-to-one yoga sessions with Becs Mcbride.

I have attended yoga classes for most of my adult life, so I am not a beginner but I had no idea how brilliant these sessions would actually be.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

INITIAL CONSULTATION

The first step is to have a short consultation (10 minutes) via phone or Zoom. This consultation is free of charge and will help you decide whether I’m the right teacher for you, depending on what you would like to achieve or explore in your private yoga sessions. 

FIRST SESSION

The first session will enable you to experience my teaching style and give you the opportunity to feel the difference yoga can make to body and mind. We will discuss your health and well-being goals so I can identify and recommend how we might work together in the future to help you get the results you want. 

There is no obligation for you to commit to further sessions. If you choose to continue, sessions can be booked as a block of four or ten sessions. Completion of a health questionnaire is required in advance of our first session.

WHERE

We meet via Zoom or I can come to your home or office in Loughborough.

WHEN

Private yoga sessions are 60 minutes long at a frequency of your choice. You may choose to see me twice a week, weekly, fortnightly or even monthly. Priority for appointments will be given to twice weekly / weekly clients.

Note one hour sessions start from £60 per hour, depending on location, time and needs. Longer sessions are available on request.

Blocks of four – all sessions must be concluded within 4 months of the first session to ensure continued benefits of the practice. Blocks of ten must be concluded within 6 months.
